Man he went down quick! :o   He was up in the wheelie doing fine then much faster than you can read this:  wobble, wobble, ground.

Quote from: oppy00He was up in the wheelie doing fine

It didn't look like he was doing fine to me; he was flailing height-wise (bouncing up and down) and started skittering to the left just before he fell.  I don't think he had actual control of the bike at any point in the wheelie.  Modern sportbikes are very forgiving of bad technique, but they'll still let go if you really muck it up.

He got off way, way, way easy.

I think stating that he got of easy is a major understatement. If we compare his injuries to those of the guy in that other thread (severed foot), this guy had some major karma going for him.

hes lucky his bike didn't hit the car coming head on at him.  If he hit me doin shaZam! like that id make sure he couldn't afford to drive for a long azz time

I agree with Roadstergal - he didn't seem to have much control from the beginning and he got off very easy.

just think though, if he in all his squidly glory had a jacket on, he would have walked away with almost no rash at all.

It's bad enough the bike is rashed.

You wanna rash up a perfectly good set of gear to?!

think he needed afew more square inches of rash in a few key places and a cop watching with a radar gun on him just as he wobbled. then i think he would have gotten what he deserved, im just glad he didnt take out anyone else.

well he got up in a wheelie...choped the throttle once he got pretty high..hit the throttle again and went past balance point...once you go past balance point the bike want's to go side to side and you have to fight it and play with the rear brake...he didn't do any of that and he crashed
