Title: Stalling at speed
Post by: lilspider on September 23, 2005, 10:57:26 AM
When riding in 6th gear, "wide open" the engine starts to, what I call it "starving for fuel".  It loss power and stalled until I slowed and down shifted, after a minute it came back to me and everything was normal again.  This happened several times.  Has anyone had this problem?  Does anyone have any suggestions besides "slow the hell down"?

Welcome to the board  , and before RG says it:

Do a search on "fuel starvation" and "PRI". Or all of the above at the same time.

It's one of the common things that gives our bikes character. ;)

you can fix this by getting bigger lines and a better petcock off of another bike

Other people like converting to a vacuum to gravity system.
