ok, so I finally got my new tires installed and my bent stock handlebar replaced. but as usual, life cannot be too good. It looks like in the process I got air in both brake systems. I leaned the front master cylider and I think got air from there, so my front brake is much weaker now. with the rear one I had to unscrew the the bolt to shift the brake line a little to access the rear mounting bracket bolt and some fluid got out, so I am not sure if I got some air in at the same time.
now I was going to change the fluid anyway, but reading the forums here saw a lot of warnings against letting the air in the system as it's hard to get out. so the question is, just how hard it is and what do I need for that. I got 12oz of Honda brake fluid, will it be enough for both systems and do I need any extra tools? will add-drain a little - add - drain a little - ... method still work or do I need some pump or something to get the air out?

You just had your tires replaced which means you had the rims off the bike. Whenever you remove the rims, you will need to pump the brake levers to return the pressure of the pads touching the disks. Do this before you change out the fluid, and 12oz should be enough, just make sure it's DOT 4.

thanks guys, I already replaced teh fluid (and hopefully did it right). I followed kerry's procedure, just wasn't sure if the procedure changes if there's air in the system. anyway, it seems to be working, so I guess I am alright.
