does anyone here besides me play golf??
Does miniature golf count? ;)
i used to play in high school. never was any good, but had a lot of fun. haven't played in nearly three years now.
I'm a golf fanatic. Although I have not played much this year due to school and work I still love it when I go out golfing.

I try to play at least once a week, Im a fanatic also. I actually record matches on tv if I cant watch them. I've been making and selling clubs for a couple years. between the kids, wife, and me we have 8 sets of clubs ( ihave 3 sets, 6 drivers, 9 putters) I kind of alternate throught them. A club I hit good this week, I may struggle with next week etc.
Was on the golf team in hight school. But its too much effort and costs too much now. So now i just disc golf
I love the game. There are 3 public courses around here with $14-$16 green fees. They are all 9 hole courses but I love playing there with the guys from work. There's also a public 18-holer that's $35 but my buddies tell me I should wait on the 18 holers for now.
I have a late 90's set of Wilson irons, Lynx sand wedge, TaylorMade TiBubble driver and 3 wood, Orlimar Trimetal 5 wood (love this club), and Dunlop hybrid that I'm trying out.
I shoot about 45ish on par 30 courses so there's room for improvement :). My friend is pretty good, he usually shoots at least bogey golf or better. No tour master but I can learn a thing or two from him :)
I swear I felt like the biggest loser when I cheered at the tv watching the tour this summer like you would for a football game
I suck, but I love playing. My dad is more than a fanatic. He took a job at a golf course once. He says it was a good income, I say it was so he could play for free.
my boyfriend was a pro...so I have to watch. It's not so bad. I get all the players names mixed up. But I'm pretty good with all the gear since I am a gear whore. He just got (as a gift from the world's greatest girlfriend) a set of titliest 680 irons last year. We play at least two rounds a week and some tourneys (well he plays, sometimes I get to hit a bucket at the range...not so pretty)...
I could never play...too frustrating...plus I can't carry clubs on a bike...and I can't waste days in my car since we have such a short riding season here...
My father won a few local tournaments, but this only involved players that came from a town with a population of about 400 called Trundle and it's surrounding areas. He used to take me to the course when i was young and we'd play a few rounds. All 18 holes of the course have fairways that consist of sunbaked dirt with scattered stones so the ball just dosn't want to pull up and it does a lot of zigging and zagging as it bounces off said stones. I still enjoy heading out to visit family that live in Trundle because i can go play a few holes and have a legitimate reason to use a four letter word while hitting something.
I go to the driving range from time to time... I really shouldn't though... I'm a danger to myself and others.
I played quite a bit in college, I could shoot in the 90's pretty regular... Being the marketing/advertising/event planner for my company I have to organize our company's golf tourney once a year. So for the last 2-3 years I've only played one time a year.
I still find that its a good thing to play some golf for business purposes, but besides that, I'd rather be fishing. :thumb:
I have been clean for over a year now.

No :( but I want to learn...it looks like a blast. I have always watched the masters and so on.
i played on the team in high school and 3 years latter i try to play once a month or whenever i get enough money. i used to shoot upper 80's to low 90's consistantly but not anymore :( sometimes i'm lucky to break 100
