Eye for an eye...
the guy's probably going to serve a few years on the public dime for this too - taxpayer dollars at work!
sometimes - just sometimes - shariah law seems awfully tempting.
That pisses me off, too. I've never been the victim of road rage on the bike, but I do know that some people get really upset if a motorcycle passes them. It insults them, somehow. :dunno: But from my experience, I've noticed many Lawn Guyland drivers are whacked in the head anyways when they get behind the wheel.
*napolean dynamite impersonation* Idiots!
Everyday I ride, I make it a habit of always obeying the speed limit and other rules of the road. One of those rules allows me to lane split on the freeway which I have no problem taking full advantage of. I know it's hard for others to see us motorcyclist and when someone accidentally does something to affect me in a negative way, I don't get mad at all. What I do get mad at are these people who purposely try to block you in, take up your lane, push you off the road. All because they can't stand the fact that I'm able to negotiate the traffic faster then they are. Hearing stories like the one posted here make me absolutely furious and I hope this fucker get thrown into a cage for the rest of his worthless life.
I have no problem with Capital Punishment. Although he will not get what he deserves.
buzz, your avatar just made my day.
Justice would be appropriately served by utilizing this low-life as a "live-interactive" speciman in automotive crash tests. Even better, as auto manufacturers are beginning to test for pedestrian safety, let's put this guy in front of a 6000 lb SUV and see how the vehicle fares after hitting him at 35MPH. After the "test", he'd have paid his debt to society and would be free to go.
I'm from Korea.. CANE HIS ASS so he'll never walk again... people... piss me off...

That would be ok... But, it would be better to light him on fire and watch him burn.
How about lighting him on fire...one body part at a time... :x
Or that... Doesn't matter to me. As long as the outcome is what he did to the guy he killed.

Makes me glad I keep a little "surprise" under my jacket at all times.
Mental Note... Don't mess with Jimbo.
LOL,,,, No, but will watch your back ;)
Had to switch carry weapons, the one I usually carry hits my backpack. Now I have a bike one, and a car one, and a house one, and a work one,,, will it ever stop. Hope the bikes don't reproduce around here like everything else has.
what's your favorite carry Jimbo? unfortunately, I'm not old enough to carry concealed yet, but based on my trials, I'm leaning towards the Kimber in a .45GAP round, my favorite to shoot of all the .45's I've had experience with.. the .45GAP is great if you haven't tried it... kicks like a 9MM stops like a .357... fun stuff... sorry (/threadjack)

But how would that have helped you in this case? Don't get me wrong.. I'm not arguing for or against. I'm just wondering, in this particular case, how would that have been of any use?
Well duh you just turn around and shoot. I think even girls can do it, Angelina Jolie and Carrie Ann Moss.

If someone is attempting to ram you with a car, it is justifiable(sp?) to pull a firearm. Pull off the road and get off the bike, then it would be much easier to avoid the car. And if he still attempts to come at you, out comes the weapon to remove the threat.
Shooting into a moving vehicle is never a real good move, would be an absolute LAST resort, which is how I carry my weapons anyway. The last thing I would want is to fire on someone that is having a bad day, only use when there is no other choice to defend myself or someone else.
aj, those girls can shoot with a weapon in each hand, while running, and hit the bad guys everytime. I still haven't mastered that yet.

I usually carry a S&W 1911 PD, commander size. Kimbers are fine, just heard of some problems with the mainspring housing breaking. But I wasn't aware they had a .45 GAP, all the ones I've seen are ACP.
I would recomend you wait a little while before CCW, a weapon comes with great responsibility. The law will be much harder on a CCW holder for not controlling themselves, road rage is not allowed while carrying a weapon. Most people would never know I carry, and I like it that way. If someone does something to me, I simply walk/drive away. No room for an ego and a weapon.

And don't forget to take MSF!!!!
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

In most states, you are required to attempt to de-escalate the situation before lethal force can be considered justified. If it turns out that you could have walked/run/driven away, that's homicide. :nono:

just to quibble, but i'm not sure pulling off is an option when someone is trying to run you down. you'd make a much easier target as you slow down.
you'd have to be able to put some space/traffic between you before you could do that, which may not really be an option.
I read about this on Acurazine. The guy who was killed was a friend of a Moderator there. Looks like they're organizing a group ride for the Acura crew, but I bet a couple GS' would be more than welcome. It's Post #38.
