A few of you may have heard of this, but motorcycle enthusiast Melinda Moore from the San Francisco bay area, came up missing 9/19/05. she was last seen riding her bike to class ( wearing full leathers). Friends and riders from the bay area riders forum searched for her for several days, and got help from police, and rescue workers, and even the media.
update: Melinda was found dead. My condolenses to her fiancee Mark, and her family.:

i've read about her story a week ago. and her friends had noted that she was suicidal. it's sad that someone couldn't save her. :(
