Title: Gel Seat for GS-F
Post by: chiquita on October 01, 2005, 06:46:36 PM
Anyone out there know if they make a gel seat for the GS -F? (04)
I have searched several places and can't seem to find one for the 04 model.

Oh, and update on the head shake.  the front tire was cupping.  It really wasn't noticeable unless you were at the right angle to see it.  I had pirelli sport demons on there. (and loved them).  I was just going to ride it out until i needed new tires, but last weekend i got a nail in my rear, so...
i now have brand new metzler laser tech's.  Lets see how they hold up for me.

No one makes seats for our F models. Hell, I don't know of ANY aftermarket seats for any '01+ GS. It's sad, really. I wouldn't mind a more comfortable seat.

Her is a company, that makes your old seat more comfortable. Just send in your seat (or find a used on ebay) and tell e'm what to do with it and they do it.  :)

Not sure what kind of seat they are but if you do a search on ebay for gs500f and look in the ebay store section there are 3 or 4 listed.  No pic's tho.

89-00 bikes have many options. 01+ dont. Suzuki makes a gel seat for the newer models.

Corbin can make you one if you send them your seat. Then they'll have the blanks to sell them mass market. maybe you should contact them about it in exchange for a free one, or a substantial discount on one.

I know Suzuki has the gel seats for the SV650 but I can't find any that is made for the 500f. Their website doesn't list seats as an accessory. Anyone know how much the guys at Bagsters cost?

About $200 for my GSF seat - not cheap bastige approved, but my rear approves.  Actually, it's only a little more than a Suzuki gel seat costs, and it is made to fit you, not some generic rear.
