Ok folks, if I can keep my sanity using Bellsouth's webpage templates, you can tolerate a work in progress.
Click Here (http://home.bellsouth.net/p/s/community.dll?ep=87&subpageid=227385&ck=) to look the idea over.
My ISP limits sections to about 20K HTML characters, so it keeps cutting off the page. I will have to cut the sucker up into chunks the silly thing can handle.
The idea is to learn how to interpret the color codes that are referenced in the online fiche sites. Once you know the code, there is no guarantee that you can find the paint, but at least you will have a better chance of ordering the right tape set.
Codes are often combinations of other color codes. This is especially true for tape sets circa 1990 - 94. There are some wild combinations during that time that Pandy would love!
If this is useful, maybe I can bug someone into helping with an interactive page, i.e type in the color code and it barfs out the combinations and their respective colors?
Awsome! Doug, nice job laying it out for the rest of us.
