Title: SV question...
Post by: jbeaber on October 05, 2005, 03:39:12 PM
Anyone know of a cheaper alternative for a rear brake pedal for an SV650 beyond OEM?  Snpped one and need a replacement...  GF had a rough track day...

The only aftermarket pedal that I know which fits factory rearsets are Woodcrafts. They cost around $55 but are well worth it. Being a 3-piece design, parts are easy to replace.

How bad is it? I have been looking for a damaged pedal for an experiment.

the part you press on has totally snapped off.  While my GS is down she is letting me use her bike.  This is a way of saying thanks....

if they show up on eBay, just as expensive as new.  Not as common as front brake levers....  GRUMBLE....

Try Marietta Motorsports //www.1888fastlap.com. I usually get my all of parts from them. If it is not one their website, call them as they probably have it.

Thanks for the website.  For a price difference of $10, definitely worth going with the woodcrafts.
