Title: you know how they ship your tires
Post by: poormanracing on October 08, 2005, 01:13:23 PM
they shipped mine with those white strapping...and read that it can cause the carcass to deform and make you swerve from left to right...ive yet to install mine and just a bit worried...any truth to this?

I had a rear shipped that way recently and it has been fine. I wouldn't worry.

Do they ship those in white strapping?

They ship all kinds of tires in that strapping, bikes and cars.  I wouldn't sweat it.

All the tires I've bought have come that way. Never had any problems.

I bought a set of 205/50/15 tires for my Neon and they came that way.  Two tires banded together then shipped.  These Dunlops have a really nice thick sidewall though so no marks was made on them.
