Man that's freaky. Why did the air bags deploy? Sad all the same :(

That bike has an Ohlins rear shock.

Two young guys were killed here recently in London Ontario in seperate single vehicle accidents.  In at least one of the cases it was a new rider.  In fact he did not have a licence, borrowed his bosses sport bike and decided to race his buddy :?

Unfortunately the newspaper calls him a motorcyclist.  He was anything but in my opinion.

I have a friend that says ... "a motorcycle is the nicest thing a father can buy his son for his last birthday".  It kind of bugs me when he says that because I feel I am a cautious rider but it does happen.  I saw two guys looking at sport bikes.  One was about 20, 130lbs and he was looking at an R1 and says to me " if I had the money that's what I would buy".  The other was about 16 and was showing his daddy the CBR600 he wanted.  Looked like the Dad had enough sense though cause he just rolled his eyes.
