It combines the R6 engine with hybrid technology.

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth...
roguegeek, you're a such a geek
It combines silly handles bars with an ugly seat and scooter styling.
don't forget the hubcap
No doubt the thing is ugly as sin, but I think they're meaning to showcase the technology first. Performs and handles like a "1000cc class machine" and is a ton more fuel efficient? I say bring it. It's only a matter of time before we start seeing hybrid technology hit bikes the way it's hitting cars. As long as performance isn't hampered and it's not terribly ugly, I'm so there.
Starwalt was working on a sweet project like that...
Electric Moto with actual power? Bring it on! I'll buy one when I can afford it.
very Buck Rogers.
while there is plenty of room for improvement, i'd argue that it makes up for a lot of its ugliness by being truly buh-zare.
Looks like CRAP!
However, if they can implement the concept into a good looking biek. Sweet.

I hate the taste of vomit...especially in my mouth.

And it's probably got that sweeeet Segway exhaust sound...
Whirrrrrrrrr...I think it will go over like a lead baloon in the U.S.

Definitely not the styling, but no doubt you are wrong about the technology. I mean that's what they said about hybrid vehicles and now they're in demand enough to command a premium. Some have even better performance than their non-hybrid counterparts.

My point was that it depends on the demographic...you're not going to win over the drilled-out-exhaust harley crew without a lot of fossil fuel combustion. That's like marketing gun racks for Volkswagon Beetles.

Yeah. I agree with you on that right now. I tend to think that this old thinking that will eventually die off, though. The people who grew up in the 60's and 70's around the fire breathing muscle cars aren't the main automobile buyers anymore and you can expect the same trend to happen with bikes.
the Motard 250 would be fun.
wonder what the lean angle would be on that one, hmmm......... :dunno:
Threw up a little in your mouth?
I now have to replace my keyboard. :?
I'd feel like Captain Kirk riding it..
Haha drag a knee on that bad boy!
This hybrid scoot doesn't look too bad. Doesn't look outrageously futeristic, but modern. Might look kinda corny in person though lol, I dunno.

I guess I'm gonna have to write the dissenting opinion here, but I think it looks pretty cool and would look ever cooler w/ a sidecar. But then again, I do drive what many consider to be the ugliest Civic ever (03 Si), so perhaps I just have odd taste.
who cares if they're ugly? (I personally don't think they're ugly) They HAUL ASS... my buddy's vette got smoked by one at the strip... of course, he was running on 7 cylinders, as one whole lobe of the camshaft was ROUND... but yea... kick ass.. any mods?
