Title: 2004 GS500F Jetting with K & N in airbox
Post by: zimbabweman43 on October 16, 2005, 01:08:08 AM
I have looked this up and found many differing opinions on what sizes to go to.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what sizes of MAIN, MID and PILOT jet to put in on a 2004 GS500F with a stock pipe and K & N drop in filter.

I think stock sizes are 130 MAIN, 60 MID and 17.5 PILOT correct?

Also, should I put a M4 washer under the needle or does the 04 already have a shimmed needle?

Thanks

From searching:

I'm running 137.5 mains, 62.5 mid-mains, #20 pilots, and three turns out on the mixture screw. It runs fantastic.

Just replaced the jets. I'm gonna get it dynoed next Saturday I think. We can check the air/fuel mix then.

Search for "2004 Wileyco".  I have my sizes and a dyno run for stock airbox, Wileyco.  All I changed was the main up one size.
