Title: GENERATOR OUTPUT
Post by: RS500 on October 18, 2005, 02:08:17 AM
I have a 93 GS. Looking for total wattage. I ride in the winter and would like to run electric gloves for now and maybe add to it later. Anybody out there that could point me in the right direction?!

THANKS!

I just found a link that sz that total wattage is 225. Now how many watts does it take to keep the bike running. What is using electric besides the headlight, ignition, and occasionally break and turn signals. Does anyone have a figure for the ignition?
THANKS!

I'd run electric gloves ... but turn them off 5 mins before getting to your destination ... That should charge the battery enough to get it started back up.
Cool.
Srinath.

Thanks for the info. Can you point me to a site that has the electrical specs for the bike?

THANKS!
