Somethin' wrong here Joe, when we can't discuss this subject without making people uncomfortable. Personally, I don't feel threatened at all by lesbians.

Quote from: indestructiblemannow, how much different would this discussion be if we were talking about ghey or bi men.
Well to be consistent, it would have to be straight women talking about bi/ghey men.
In my experience, similar numbers of straight gals are not tittilated by dude on dude action. Maybe they are but don't express it due to societal pressures or what not.
I think part of it is that on average men are more stimulated by imagery and also see sex as a power relationship.
In FF action, two sex objects interacting = + imagery and few power threats (note that most men prefer bi fems or fem lesbians)
In MM action there is power threat, the man sees the possibility of being penetrated. Research suggests that a significant number of men are stimulated by male nudity but not by MM sexuality, probably reflecting an internal conflict between arousal and fear of domination.
I'm watching Kinsey this weekend, maybe I'll have a different perspective.
yeah, i've only known three girls who ever said they were turned on by the site of two men together. all three had varying levels of bi-tendencies themselves.

TENTACLE porn? WTF?
Quote from: NiceGuysFinishLastTENTACLE porn? WTF?
Ok now i am curious too, care to explain Onlypastrana?
1. tentacle porn
Any of a wide variety of primarily Japanese hentai anime films, dealing with demons or space creatures with multiple appendages not unlike tentacles. Many are either naturally occuring shapes i.e. round with suckers, or often times have genitalia, usually of the masculine variety. See hentai, sailor fuku, and anime for additional info. Developed as an alternative to showing male genitalia, which is not legal in Japanese live-action adult films.
i thought it might be something of the anime variety
Quote from: Onlypastrana1991. tentacle porn
BAH!! I hate those! I would get tricked into watching them 'cause I love Anime... :(
They always seem to be similar to Inuyasha, but all the demons are sex monsters...

Brake = thing that stops the bike.
Break = a bad thing to happen to a bike.
Piqued = initiated, provoked (it piqued his interest)

OMGRAMMAR!
At least I'm not the only spelling and grammar Nazi around here.
Just for the record, y'all are a bunch of freaks.
Pique: A state of vexation caused by a perceived slight or indignity.
 The definition is better than the word itself. I've never before seen it used in a sentence.
That reminds me of a few jack-asses I work with... They think queue is spelled cue. :x Makes me want to smack them.
Oh, use it; it's fun. Say thinks pique your interest. Say that an annoying co-worker has put you in a fit of pique. Say that your lunch was piquant (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=piquant).
Another word I want to bring back is petrichor. M-W gave up on it, but OED hasn't - "A pleasant, distinctive smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather in certain regions." More of a Midwestern thang.
I gave up on English about 6 years ago... I'm all about the "Where you at" and "I ain't heard nothin' 'bout that"
:thumb:
The more dangling participles, the better... And NO Gs on the ends of words.
so aperently we need to go back to freshman english to learn the difference between spelling errors and homonyms.
LMFAO... I LOVE THIS BOARD... I too am a spelling/grammar nazi... but I forgive everyone on the board, as most are intoxicated when they post (*cough*Davipu!*cough*) :) :)
Quote from: NiceGuysFinishLastLMFAO... I LOVE THIS BOARD... I too am a spelling/grammar nazi... but I forgive everyone on the board, as most are intoxicated when they post (*cough*Davipu!*cough*) :) :)
davipu intoxicated? sure but that's not the cause of his misspellings. he was born that way
I personally don't see the need to be a spelling/grammar nazi. It just makes you look anal and uptight, anyways. Not to mention it is extremely annoying, and there are more important things to be concerned with: like what the person is saying. And who said it was your job to point out their mistakes?
I generally overlook spelling errors / typos unless they change the meaning of the post, and then it is just like "huh? ohhhhhh I get it". Even then, as long as it makes sense and you understand what they are trying to say, why waste time on it?
If you focus too much on how it is being said, you are missing the important part: what they are saying. And what, in this case, is always more important than how.
We all have different backgrounds, experiences, and educations. But we all have one thing in common: we enjoy motorcycles. Who cares if someone types something wrong? or misspells something? There are more important things than that! Like purpel lesbiens!

Like the commercial: "You mean we don't get French benefits? Huh."
Quote from: davipuso aperently we need to go back to freshman english to learn the difference between spelling errors and homonyms.
Using the wrong homonym is a spelling error. :)
Oh, the other one that gets me - "mute" instead of "moot."
not knowing the idiosyncratic details of the word concerned when spelling the word, does not make it a spelling error. it's a gramatical error as the meaning of the sentance changes. ie: ending the sentance with a . as opposed to a ! .
I see your point, but I'm still not sure I agree. Grammar is syntax. Spelling is getting the letters and the order of the letters correct in a given word. Just because they happened to spell another word correctly doesn't change the fact that they spelled the actual word incorrectly.
yes it does.
"Does nooooooot!"
Quote"Does nooooooot!"
whining Buddha Loves You.
"does not."
responce that entails that no more information for this side of the argument is needed/ warrented.
so now you can clearly see the gramatic difference in the meaning of the sentance, and how spelling errors are relative to gramatic errors.
you lose.
Now that I can clearly see the grammatical differences in the meanings of the sentences, and how spelling errors are relative to grammatical errors - what? :)

You asked that one question...and I feel compelled to answer it, so I'm going to let it all out.
My wife passed away Saturday, Aug28th. She had suffocated due to her allergy to cats.
She had gone to her dad's to watch him, because he can't be left alone. And her brother, that lives there, was leaving for Las Vegas for his anniversary. And, I was to pick her up for church. When I arrived, her door was locked, I knocked, no answer. Pounded, no answer. Then I kicked the door open and found her in bed, face up, with her eyes halfway open, and I knew. Her face was peaceful, so I know she went peacefully, and that she is asleep in the Lord. I take comfort in that. And, I know I will see her again. We told her not to go, but she is so stubborn, and when she makes up her mind, you don't argue. And, she said that she would call me if she had any trouble. I was supposed to stay there that weekend. She was 50.
Edit: The reason I didn't start a new thread is because, I didn't want to make a thread that is just about me. This has always been a happy place and I wanted to keep it that way.
Tim I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for you. Don't feel guilty and do not beat yourself up.
