I'm just guessing that this guy (http://www.jonathancoulton.com/music/thingaweek/BabyGotBack.mp3) isn't a brutha.
That song makes me feel... funny.
I heard that on locally owned radio station in Iowa City. I laughed my Oakland booty off when I heard it.
High School...what a trip.
Try this one. Hardcore Motorhead fans beware.

nice. i have Hayseed Dixie's ac/dc tribute and Hillbilly tribute to Mountain Love, but i hadn't heard that one.
if you like Hayseed Dixie, you should also check out Fade To Bluegrass (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000CC866/104-3390033-7942362?v=glance).
i linked to amazon for the samples.
Makes me proud of my new hometown Oaktown....
...Now we should have someone debate which is better, this version or the original?
i finally understand the lyric to the song...
I forget the name for it, but has anyone hear that music where they like lay 2 songs on top of one another?
Are you talking about Mashups? Before Bill Radke moved to LA (bastige!), there was a Rewind story on those. It's laying the vocal track of one song on the music track of another, and it is trippy. They closed off the show with an Eminem vocal track over the old Morning Edition theme music...
Did you guys ever hear of Richard Cheese? Go download one of his little diddy's. He does the same sort of thing but as a lounge singer. I laugh my Oakland booty off every time I hear him!!! Get a few songs so you can really apprecite him! :thumb:
Reminds me of when Dynamite Hack redid Boyz in the Hood as a really mellow cover.. it's great
You know, this guys original stuff is pretty good, too. I like the EP he did for Popular Science. Kind of a Bare Naked Ladies/TMBG thing going on.

Hayseed Dixie is good. I love how they did their covers of ACDC.
