I started to change my front from 16 to 15 teeth and when i did there is some room for play on the side to side motion?? did anybody else have this problem, the old sprocket had a little lip on it, I was just gonna put a washer in, is there any need for this or is it all right the way it is??
whats blue underglow?
underglow is blue neon lighting that lights up the ground underneath the bike, i also have mine lighting up underneath my swingarm and underneath my front cowl!!
Movement = Wear. I'm quite certain that when I put my 17T on, there was no movement of the sprocket on the spline. The Circlip held the sprocket from moving off, but there was no movement to be had inbound either.
This is a high-stress part of the engine. If I were you I'd shim the sprocket so it doesn't move and you can still get the Circlip on the drive shaft.
PS. My replacement sprocket was designed just like the stock 16T -- with a shoulder on the inboard side. I take it that this is missing from your 15T, n'est pas?
Hi chefod... you must have one of the most accesoriated GS's around... Could we see some pics?
I have the fastest 500cc bike in Prince Edward Island , Canada, but I don't have a digital camera yet, spending all my money on bike accessories and just spent another 30 on rubbers to go under my mirrors cause my mirrors vibrate too bad anything over 140?? anyone else got that problem, lol, but when i do i will post some pics? cool
Hey Chefod. I just noticed in your signature that you have a "Remote Starter" on your GS500? Is it for real?
How does it work? :dunno: Don't you need to set the choke? What drove you to get it?
