Title: Pedal
Post by: dionysus on October 25, 2005, 07:09:59 PM
Kinda bike related... The genius (inlaws) that assembled a stationary bike cross threaded one of the foot pedals, and then never road it. So, a few years later now that I'm using it, its completely lost its threads... what to do? There's enough rat bikes here, someone ought to know ;)

I had to replace the cranks.
...JB Weld?...can't believe a professional welder would suggest glueing such an important component...what if it lets go while you're climbing a steep incline? :o
...then again, if I'd thought of it, I'd have tried it.
