If only I were as fortunate to have have your winter up here.  But then the world would be in a right big weather mess should it come to pass.  Think I'll just grin & bare it from (soon to be) snowy Michigan.  Reminds me that I've got to service the snow blower...

Enjoy the screen.  Even my little Flyscreen is better than without.

If by a little cold you mean 50s for one week, then yes.

Neither can I.  I'll ride out in the country for pleasure until the days get below 40-45.  Then, no matter what I do, my hands chill out -- must be poor circulation.  I'll ride in-town for errands and work until the snow falls or water freezes on the roads.

Typicallty this happens around Thanksgiving.  Last year I rode 'til the second week in December. Then I wax the tank & frame, oil what's left, change the oil, fogging oil in the cylinters, bag the air box & exhaust, pull the battery and get the tyres off the garage floor.  Then we wait until the first warm day in March when the roads are free of salt.

For those three months I ride vicariously by reading the postings of riders like you folks...

I have the F-16 on my bike. It was 20 degrees when I left for work this morning and when I didn't have it I would have never rode it when the temp's were that low.  It blocks just enough wind around your head to make it tolerable to drive.

I wish it was that warm. We have had a minus sign in front of the numbers for some time now. Keep hoping for that last warm day...

Not sure if you're aware we're talking 20's Fahrenheit here Code.  That's -1 to -6 Celcius, and it's been that every morning this week.  We're not that different down below the lakes, and it's just gonna get worse 'til February.

The optimist could look at 20F as a balmy 266.5 Kelvin.  :thumb:
