Well it was about 2 1/2 years ago that i was t-boned while headed to work on my GS. It was 4 days later that i had planned to meet the woman who would become my fiance. Turns out she met me in the E.R. after my accident. She found out about my accident because i called her on my cell from the hospital ER to tell her that despite my injury our date was still on. It was about 10 months ago that i posted right here on this very site (an exclusive..!) That i proposed and she said yes.
Well...
Tomorrow we get married.
Then it's off to Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Sedona AZ. Maybe over there somewhere away from city traffic i'll be able to rent a bike somewhere and give her the ride she's been asking for but i've been reluctant to offer.
So...just wanted to let yall know. :)
Congrats :thumb:
Why are you reluctant to give her a ride on your bike now, the city traffic? I can't blame you there.
:thumb: :thumb:
It'll be the best mistake you'll ever make.

I'm 35 with a girlfriend (long term thing 9 years) but do not plan on getting mariried.....why mess things up.

Yea its great being a hood ... yea, but bachelor is over rated ... I was a hood too ... anyway ... marriagehood is better ... ... You love her when she's good and really really really love her when she's bad and she's the same to you ... if that's the case ... you're meant for each other ...
Cool.
Srinath.
As the old saying goes... you don't know what happiness is until you're married - and by then, it's too late. :P :)

That doesn't sound very happy.. :?
Hah.. 3 rings of marriage
1. Engagement ring
2. Wedding ring
3. Suffer-ring

congratulations!
the secret to a happy marriage is summed up in 4 simple words:
Yes dear.
I'm sorry.
Congradulations. (<I'll try to hide my excitement)
Never appologize for something you intended to do; that leads you to the road of despair, where the term "ball and chain" comes from, that is: the guilt that is bestowed upon you for the mistake you made (not saying you made a mistake).

...I'm laughing as I read this.
Communicate. Be sure to tell her how you feel at any given point in time. Women respond to feelings. Good luck.

Agreed... they don't let logic or reason get in the way of their arguments...
  I'm just repeating what I've learned from watching my dad (I'm on stepmother number 2... and I'm 19 years old.... wtf?)
Congrats....should be a nice change.
All the best...
from what I've heard, marraiage is like a AMF harley, your going to spend more time wrenching than riding. but with enough chrome and polish even if she's sitting in the garage you will be the envy of all your friends.
