Title: Possble cool parts for a GS
Post by: kvgs on October 29, 2005, 07:33:24 PM
I wonder if these handle bars would fit a GS. Id measure and check it out but I currently dont have access to my GS. Or maybee some of the other stuff on this site would fit a GS, I dont know.

Eh. I don't like the look of those clubmans. Clubmans are supposed to have that pointed front edge, followed by the sweep back, like such.

I'm considering getting some clubman bars for the GS. Nothing too expensive. Maybe some $20 ones they have at one of the local shops.

Yeah the tommaselli bars fit I tried a set on my bike
but found the position too agressive for my liking
nice bars though very adjustable!

I've got the non adjustable Tommaselli's:

I really like them. Being a little more aggresive than the sit up and beg position is a welcome change, as more wieght is transferred to the front wheel. Of course...more wieght is also transferred to the wrists too.

I had a set of tommaselli clip on's ... great bars, but extremely fragile ... the clamping block on mine was made of cast aluminum ... and the thing broke in under a week when I was holding the bike up with the left bar ... the thing split at the point where the bar gets clamped on the block ... when I made mine (the clip on's) I made sure there was plenty of metal to prevent that from happening ... OH yea ... mine had a 100 other problems though ... so I am back to the board on that one ... I might just get myself a lathe and get some made and see how that works out. The nut in the bar idea is also a disaster ... I am going to re invent the whole thing ... sorta ...
Cool.
Srinath.

Regular clubman bars like the ones I posted a pic of are MUCH better looking.
