watch this video. at about 3min and 25 sec in does't that red bike look like a gs500? with a different tail or maybe just a red seat on it. my only problem is how easily he wheelies the thing at highway speed. lemme know what you think.
and save the 'stunting is for squids blah blah blah'... old news
Cool video ... Sure looks like a GS. mebbe a GSXR with round headlight? Honda Hawk?
Yeah Im thinken no on the GS.
I'm pretty sure I can see a radiator.
And theres no subframe like the GS.
Looks a lot like a GS, no doubt, but like it was said earlier there isn't a subframe like the GS has. My bet is a Honda Hawk GT.
Honda Bros possibly 400 or 650 :thumb:
The Honda Hawk has a shorty exhaust can from the factory and I think that bike has one. However there is a shot at 3:33 that is making me think it might be a GS. There is a spot where the subframe goes, but then stops, like he removed it, maybe? I think the gas tank is more Hawk GT ish, though.
More edit: Saw the tail. That's a Hawk GT.
Thirded on the bike being a Hawk GT. From what I understand they don't really have much more power than a GS - they do sound really nice though. Notice that he had to bounce the forks to get the front end to come up.

They had somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 to 60 HP, from what I recall. Beautiful bikes, though.
One of my profs has one in blue, 'cept hers isn't as clean. They are purty, but they look best in the red or graphite, the blue doesn't do much for them.
It's a French design.
I love the hawk as a place to start customizing but I'm not crazy about how it looks stock, I hate those horrable wheels and I'm not to crazy about the tail either, I was looking into getting one, but they are rare so when they come up there alittle to expensive for what I was looking to spend.
this is what I'm talking about, custom hawk
thats a mean look'n machine

BTW do you think anyone's ever put a hawk swing arm on a gs? single sided swing arm would look awsome

All I have to say is...

If someone gave me a Hawk GT swingarm, I would definitely have a go at trying to get it to work.
If you used a hawk swingarm wouldnt you have to use the hawk wheel too?
I dont know how that would look on a GS
But a single sided swingarm would surely be sweet
There have been people here that have done that conversion. Some Russian dude was selling his set up. One other person pulled it off too.
I love the Hawk GT. There is one for sale here in KC. . .
