Post by: ditchdoc1017 on November 02, 2005, 09:21:07 PM
One of my friends has a 2004 I rode it today for about 10 min man that thing will haul. It has way to much power the more you twist the higher the front wheel will come it also will spin the rear tire in a heaet beat. He want me to ride it one day for a while to see what I think.I think you could get hurt fast on it would be so easy to loop out.He said it would do 90 in first i would not dount it he does track days expert class with it.Oh well if you get a chance to ride one hope on and hold on.

biggest thing i haave been on was a GSX-R750.  It was an older model but still, damn.  I can only imagine what a 1000cc super sport bike would feel like.  I'll stick to something i can enjoy without going to the track.

That is so true i would be so worried about busting my butt on it or getting use to it and start flying and get hurt quick. He was at the Drag in NC this summer as laid it down to much gas in a curve the rear end came out on him.

I got a chance to wind out a Daytona 600 once. It was great.

A Gixxer will be my next bike. Either that, or a ninja. I'm REALLY diggin' the new 636 Ninjas. I won't be getting a 1000 though, oh sh!t, maybe I will who knows. I guess it'll depend on what I see and fall in love with... kinda like what happened when I saw my GS!  :thumb:

I'll be taking it to the track and hopefully will be able to compete with it, we'll see. I'll probably just ride the GS on the streets and take the Gixxer/Ninja out just every once in a while, if ever. I'll be getting it sometime in '07, so it's still a ways away.  Have plenty of time to fine tune my skills on the good ol' 500.
