Title: GS5 sighting on Haywood, Greenville, SC
Post by: drifter8844 on November 07, 2005, 07:53:16 AM
So I'm leaving my girlfriends place yesterday, in the turn lane waiting at 385 and Haywood at about 3pm, when I spied a blue '01 (or around that year) heading my opposite direction.  Very clean, and I liked the bag, been thinking about getting one myself.  Holla!

yeah, that's probably what it was, just kinda caught it at a glance, have to say i was concentrating more on the bike  .  Do you commute from clemson to g'ville alot?  I've only done it once on the bike, and it wasn't too bad.

I live in greenville for my co-op this semester... i actually go to USC (cola).  I was in clemson visiting buddies and celebrating my 21st, but i'm thinking about transferring there now.
The ride to/from clemson on the bike isn't bad at all.  i took 85 part of the way there, but the way back i took all back roads (hwy 123?).  i'd reccommend backroads.  more fun.
lemme know if any of you upstaters want to ride sometime.  i went to paris mountain yesterday and it was AMAZING.  about 8 miles of nice twisties and scenery up-down, and back up-down the other way.  it was right around sunset, and all the leaves were changing.  wish i had my camera with me.
