I just finished my first commute ride with the new National Cycle Plexistar 2 winshield that I installed yesterday. Purchased from mawonline.com for $99+15 S/H
 WOW!!
I love it! The temp in the morning here is high 40s/low 50s right now. I was managing ok, but I wasn't comfortable with the extra clothes I had to wear to keep warm. By the time I would get to work, I was still cold. Temp will drop to freezing in the winter and I knew I would really be hurting then.
Not now! The Plexi 2 blocks all the wind into your chest and also your head, if you duck down slightly. Your hands are protected, too. Sound is so low now I am considering wearing earphone for radio.
Only thing keeping me from riding all winter is A) rain B) times when I need to haul more than my TB will carry.
Next project for GS is progressive springs. The suspension isn't that bad. I am only a buck sixty and I am used to going slow over driveways. It is just the unexpected bump in the road while riding that I want the new springs and also passenger riding.
anyway, have a good monday! is there such a thing? :dunno:

Best money I ever spent on the bike, my big screen, especially in wet conditions, it chucks a lot of water over my head and off the gloves too.
