Finally Saw Hitchhiker's, did we?
Long-time luver - finally picked up the DVD, and it had a behind-the-scenes of the radio show bonus bit where they worked out the creation of that song. I haven't seen the movie and have no desire to.

The movie's not bad. I enjoeyed it (and have also been a long time fan). I think it's the best they could do whithout completely abandoning the "mainstream" audience, a did a good job capturing the feeling. But they did make obvious concessions.
Better than the BBC series, though. :)

Oh yeah. I rather enjoyed the movie. It was fun to watch, to say the least. I've been a big fan of Douglas Adam's work for a long time now. You should see the movie though, RG, just for a larf.
I loved the BBC series - that's the DVD I got. The animation alone was worth the price of admission.
