Well I did not go with the Virago, instead i webt with a 1998 750 Kat.Mna love it more power and lot bigger I like the feel of a heavy bike not blow around as much.The dealer gave me 1750 on trade for mine little less than retail but little more than trade in all total I am have 2800 in the Kat from buy the GS and what i made on it on the resale.I post more in a little while .

Hey Buzz seen you the other day.Look for a green Kat 750 it be me.
The Katanas remain on my very short list of bikes I'd consider. Screw adjusted valves, centerstand, and decent ergos. Great choice ditchdoc.
Thanks Jack coming from you that mean alot I think it's going to be a good touring bike very easy to ride with tons of power if need.I putting some new rubber one it tuesday a set of pilot powers it should handle like a dream with those on there.
