Title: Mother Nature Kicked...
Post by: JoChan23 on November 13, 2005, 09:28:46 PM
... My bikes @$$...  :x   :x

Long story short - my bike was outside while i was at work because they were working on my garage.  we had some of the strongest winds so far this season.  the bike was on the side stand.  wind blew it over.

(previously cracked handlbars (from when someone tried to move it earlier)) totally ruined

right front blinker toast (maybe it was time for a blinker job anyways)

I'll post pics of course

That ought to teach you to get off of it  :P

In all seriousness though, that sucks. But look on the bright side, it is a good opportunity to get some sportier bars and some short stalk signals.  :thumb:

I'm looking through my Motorcycle Show pictures. Aside from Buell, you could go for Moto Guzzi Breva 1100 signals. Clear, kinda pointy. Not bad.

Or the ones off a Ducati Sport Classic Pual Smart 1000.

Very classic. Rounded, chromed backing. Looks real nice.

BMW K1200R signals are very discreet. Small, triangular, but OEM brightness.

Or go for Triumph Speed Triple ones. Clear lens, not big or bulky, either.

Yeah those are pretty nice... Maybe when Christmas rolls around and I've got some dough I'll see about picking up a set :)

For now you can just use hand signals :)

The Breva 750 also has nifty signals.  Amber, not clear, but shapely.
