So, it's one week from today...the Xbox 360 launch.   Who's excited?  I saw a demo unit in BestBuy over the weekend and there was a huge crowd around it...watching folks play Call of Duty.  Very cool.  

I've never been a huge console fan (I don't own any), but I'm going to be getting a 360.

I can't think of anything they have on a console that isn't more fun to do in real life.

Eh, I barely play my regular Xbox anymore. It saddens me. The 360 is going to be the same size as the old one, so it'll be just as difficult to try and transport it.

Sure...but I'm still not seeing a big difference between chatting with people and dropping by for dinner vs. Chatting with people while blowing them up and dropping by for dinner.  :dunno:
Admit it, there are times you'd like to frag half the folks on this board.
The last console that I owned was an Atari 2600.  I'm not usually a big fan, mostly because I don't have the time to kill on a console.  I do find the Xbox 360 very compelling, nonetheless.  :dunno:

I just beat a game called "God of War" on PS2.  And I don't have a new game so I am going to beat GT4 again (3rd time).  

God of War was crazy!  But I can't wait to get "Gun".  Maybe this weekend.

I have a hard time peeling myself away from the computer. I can't seem to make time for video games..hehe. I like them...jsut never have time. I'm a busy guy, you know.

i'm having fun with the Warriors from PS2 right now.  It's not too long, but yoiu bascially get to roll around a circa 1979 NYC and kick the shaZam! out of other gangs. Good, clean, Christian fun.

baah, im stuck playin bf2 for time being, sad thing is the 360 pretty much out classes any home pc now for next couple of months anyhow, ;)

1) battle front II
2) battle field 2
3) big foot 2

So...did anyone get a 360 last night or today???  Does it stand up to the hype?  I'll be sticking with my old XBox until I can spring for a HD TV.
