For sufficiently large values of 3, it does.

This thing is driving me nuts :x, I keep coming back to GeeP's answer, N has to be 0.  :dunno:

3n/1=4n

.75n=n
n = 0

I agree with you down to here, but .75n does not equal n therefore the statement is false.

It's not false if n=0...

:dunno:

I was only good at math when I was in school...  Since then I've replaced my math skills with beer.

I doubt its math. More likly one of those "guess the meaning" puzzles. Can't really think of one, but in this one 4n could be foreign, that sort of thing.  :dunno:

N does not exist

therefore 3 != 4

which makes the statement false as i originally said.

its the matrix playing mind games....you should've taken the blue pill you retards.

Dude...  I'm telling you...

3 == E
n == n
1 == one

3n/1 == En one == Anyone

4 = four
n = en

4n == Four en == Foreign

3n/1=4n is "Anyone Foreign"

but really n would have to equal 0 or infinity.

3-in-1 = 4 in

3-in-one = 4 in.

3inches/1 = 4 inches...umm, no.

3 valves in spec/1 out of spec still equals 4 valves.

n=valve

the answer is n=0,  substitute 0 for n you get 3(0)/1  = 4(0)
                                                                     0/1 = 0
                                                                        0=0

simple basic algebra

not lately but even if i were at the moment smoking crack, i would be smart enough to know that n != 0.
