For all you GSers and otherwise out there, Barney's of Brandon (my employer) is throwing a track day at Jennings in february of 2006 (more details to come as the date nears. This is just a rough guestimate but it will be arond $100 per person which buys your food and track day there.
Nice to talk to you all again and sorry I haven't been keeping up since I made the switch to my '03 ZX-6R. The kawiforums just aren't the same...
for those of you not in the know...Jennings track is in North Florida
this post got my mind to thinking...
was just reading about jennings at CF (http://www.cycleforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=199331url), then i looked up the weather almanac for typical temps for february.
then i remembered there is the cycleworld m/c show at jacob javits in january (i can see/sit on what's new for 2006).
possibly trade-in the gsf for a different bike or just keep it and get a 3rd (leaning towards the sv650s).
calculated how much vacation time i have left and the logistics of getting the new bike down from snowy ny to sunny fla.
then i thought, maybe not a good idea to break-in a new bike w/ new tires at a new track...
hmm, still considering jennings but will most likely ride the gsf.
