there were 38 Minis and 16 MINIS (BINIS) there. we took Topanga to Tuna Canyon down to the PCH. it was a great run. so great we did it twice. the best part is the long stretch of one way road where you don't have to worry about oncoming traffic.
some people had some serious brake fade and one guy in a classic spun and hit the rock wall (beats going off the cliff). he was unhurt but he had some suspension damage.
we had lunch at the Rock Store. hopefully someone will post some pictures from there. there was a Ducati MH900, Jay Leno's Vincent Black Lightning and some guy on a 1938 BMW with a sidecar.
i was tempted to go through the parking lot and count how many motorcycles had larger engines than my car, but then i realized i don't have that many fingers and toes.
btw, my car's the cream one with wing-mounted mirrors (which i've installed since the last pics i posted).
cheers,

Will,
I didnt know you have a mini! those things rock! and a right hand drive as well...NICE. Looks like a great day in the canyons...would've been quite a sight up there.
I've always wanted one of the original mini's, all decked out with flares and all...
very cool.
i've had the mini for about 4 weeks now.
this was my first time taking it on twisty roads. corners like it's on rails.
here's some more pictures, including some from the Rock Store

my CA license plate is sort of wedged into the rubber around the rear windshield. i took one corner hard enough that the plate came loose and went sliding along the luggage shelf.
