nice!!! goes along with the idea of the new mustang; a NEW take on an OLD model of the car. not only an old model, but the BEST styled model in there production.  I love those kind of cars.

Well, it certainly explains why the automakers are going bankrupt.

You want Plymouth to come out of retirement to make a new Roadrunner with a Shopping-Cart Wing and a Nose Cone on it? :?

I think a new Roadrunner could be really well done.

What exactly is that supposed to mean? I belive that GM is the only one that layed off 30,000 people  :o
Everyone else isn't doing to shabby

Ford lost on the order of $1 billion last quarter.  About the same as GM.  Ford is planning to axe 10% of it's white collar staff, and there are rumors that they're planning GM-style layoffs as early as January.

Chrysler is staying afloat solely by their Charger and Magnum line.  We're taking bets to see how long they last.   Trying to stay afloat on a revamped "muscle car" line while fuel prices are rising isn't the best chess strategy.

Yep!  They don't call economics "the dismal science" for nothing.

I spent all day on Thanksgiving with my dad watching Speed channel and checking out muscle cars.  We both decided our dream muscle car would be the Challenger R/T.  And viola!  Thank you Chrysler!
I'm a Toyota/Scion man, but that car is hot.

I'm ready for a revamped Dodge Dart with a 440 Wedge.

I wonder a) how much it weighs, b) how frequently it breaks, and c) if it has an independent rear suspension, let alone one that doesn't suck.

It isn't an autocross car.  It is for doing smokey burnouts and blowing the clothes off unsuspecting females.

Where do I sign up???

Breakage?  Warranties are there for a reason! :)

Straights were fun for a year or two. ;)

Two year warranty should cover it.

I bet it weighs a ton.  3600 lbs. (which is, admitedly, more than a ton) is my guess.

But I weigh an 1/8 of a ton myself, so it is all relative.

I meant, a year or two many years ago.

My old Miata would be faster than that thing at PR.  I rode with a friend in a ZHP E46, and he kept backing off, running up the tail of the new 'Stang ahead, backing off...  Less power, better brakes and handling.
