So...here's the audio clip of my new exhaust I promised months ago. Its in neutral because its tooooo f'in cold out to do anything else....I promise they'll be more. Its kinda low and grumbly and sounds low all the way up in neutral but when I'm shifting up through gears it gets higher...

Be brutally honest :dunno:
The bike sounds good. The sound clip doesn't. :P
There! I was brutally honest.
What kind of pipe? It's been so long I forgot the thread...
Crappy camera, cause I got a new one but its for Christmas even though I picked it out :x :x :x
Its a two brothers can from a cbr
At idle it sounds like a diesel locomotive
Yeah try hearing that in your ear....... she is trying to make me as deaf as my grandma!!!!!    And I think it is f$%ing awesome!!! U go babe!!
lol! Cobalt is right. EMD 16-710 maybe? Definately doesn't have any GE in it. :P
Now, make it sound like an FM H12-44 and my hat's off to you. :P
You train geeks are so weird.
it sounds like a funny car

Totally...
Rather throaty gs you have there....
Deep and throaty :P
Good job, pastami. It's getting there :thumb:
that reverb sound cool.
Badass.
in the flesh it might sound nearly as good as my formula1 exhaust.
I have not heard another pipe that comes near the formula1 for note and dcbl. i get tractor riders (Harleys) looking over their shoulder when i'm splitting them.
plus how can you top a full race carbon fibre exhaust system for $725 aus
about $500 us ?
i think its a set of 32mm ID headers into a 52mm ID can. f**k she sounds beasty
They'll hear you going, that's for sure. :)
Not my style though. (To steal from Bryan Adams,) I'd be waking up the neighbors -- no way to sneak out of the 'hood. Still, I can see the appeal. Yells, "Hey look at me!!". Guess that's why harley riders have loud pipes. :dunno:
Or don't run me over. Besides I dont have to worry about neighbors...i live in a cornfield.
I guess I dont find it that loud because I have straight pipes on my honda and its nothing compared to my dad's xl. It does however beat the shaZam! outta the xl when it comes to speed  Audio clip is a little echo-y because I took it in the garage. After the bike is back together and the snow is gone, I'll take a short video and post that. It sounds alot different going down the road than stuck in neutral in my garage

Live in a cornfield, huh? Sounds kinda odd, but I'll assume there's a warm house in that cornfield. :thumb:

I think we'd all like to see/hear you on it out in the open. Spring is just 110 days away! 'Til then, the sound of your bike will have to do as I ride vicariously from the exploits of others.
Sounds better than my stock can, which sounds more like a Huey helicopter on approach. LOL.

Not only is this dude not weariing proper gear, he's completely nekkid! Squid.
 Perhaps, but with 1"-3" of snow on the ground here, no one is riding and only the loonies are naked. :P
