GSX-R front end swap
You can also do a Kat 600 swap, but inverted Gixxer front ends look hot.
You can install most any front end depending on how much work you want to do and how much you want to spend.
Plan to spend a minimum of $400-$500 for a complete inverted front end setup. More for newer radial brakes forks.
I have a write up in the FAQ forum on installing a Katana front end:

A Kat front end will run $100-$200.
Eventually I will have a write up on installing inverted forks, but i still need to finish acquiring the rest of the parts.

I friggin' wish I could find a Kat front end for less than $200 -- the boneyards around here want $150 for just the forks, no trees/stem/wheel/rotors/calipers/etc.
Of course salvage yards will be higher. You have to watch ebay and be cheap. The last couple of sets of forks I got for $25 & $35 (they both need seals & fresh oil), triples for less than $10, calipers $15. It takes some time. I have been picking up parts for over a year. But recently I have noticed that have been selling for a little more. This is the time of the year to buy parts.
There's a 01 GSXR 600 front end on eBay for $130 atm, or there was last night at least, it's probably gone by now. Everything but the wheel + rotors, fender, and clipons. I think I may have a lead on a freebie from a guy here at work though, we'll see.
Am I mistaken, or didn't the GSX-R's have USD forks prior to 01? Why did they switch back for a couple of years?
IIRC...The 600's had conventional forks up through 01. They always seem to be 1 year behind the 750 in getting the lastest trick stuff.
