You have a sweet ride....seriously
where did you get your mirrors? I like a set of those for my bike.
Wow, you did a lot of work. Good job :thumb:
i got it over here, in Brazil.... its Brazilian made...
Looks good, especially the black frame and the tail light
Nice looking bike.....the pictures are a little small....can you make them just a little bigger? I should also get some glasses....the pictures look a fuzzy.... :nana:
No really....nice bike dude :thumb:
Some wild mods. I wonder, is it even a GS500 anymore?
Wow!! One truely amazing Gs, great Job!
that is an amazing looking bike! way to go!
you know what happens when you polish a turd.
you get a turd with polish on it.
i'm sorry but it's still a 500.
If you don't mind me asking..how much did that all cost? :o
Wouldn't it have been more economical to have just bought bike with higher displacement?
yes.....but I bet that a polished turd would:
1. quickly be Yahoo!'s "most emailed photo"
2. fetch a good bit on ebay
3. be the punchline of every joke on late night TV
4. be davi's life achievement
davipu, did i ever tell you what an optimist you are?
what did the "reply" button go on this thread? :dunno:
Man what a nice GS. Good job.
Very nice job! :thumb:
it looks like you had the whole thing apart to do what you did.
Bravo!
I'm impressed with the work you did. Don't let turd sayers bother you. If you enjoyed doing it then that's all that really matters. Would you have bought a $10, 000 pound bike and had the same enjoyment? No, cause you'd be afraid to even touch it for fear of voiding the warranty.
I like the mirrors too. :thumb:
Congrats!
[edit]
can you re-size the first couple of pictures cause they are huge! Also, did you get it to run well? You did a lot of mods all at once so I'm just wondering how you got it to run well. ie what's your carb set-up and did you have to modify the ignition advance etc. Thanks.
