Title: Tires - Bridgestone Battlax BT-45 VS Pirelli Sport Demon
Post by: bulletproofcycle on December 13, 2005, 01:32:13 PM
Time for new tires on my GS500.  I have a choice for the Bridgestone's BT45s or the Pirelli Sport Demons for roughly the same price.

Which will be stickier?
Which will have better mileage?

Your opinions are appreciated, especially from those whose use these tires.

Thanks

Welcome to the site!

Quote from: Dragonflyreally depends on what you want. I have run both and they are both great tires! The Bt45 is an awsome sport touring tire, with emphises on the touring part. They will last a very long time, and corner very well.

Sport Demons, are a fantastic SPORT touring tire, with HEAVY emphesis on the sport part. I have know idea how long they will last, but they stick like holy hell in the corners.
I find I am draging my knee in areas were I absolutly didnt feel comfortable to do so with the Bt45's.

so it really depends on what you want... sportier, or a more touring based tire.

So..

Which will be stickier? The Sport Demons
Which will have better mileage? The BT-45's
