It's basically pearl black with blue metal flake.

The exact colors are from Color Rite (https://www.colorrite.com/CRPLfactoryColors.php?osCsid=a84270ada687d496c8bc91f5366a3212&appID%5B%5D=1545&typeID=2&appYear=2000&appManuf=Suzuki&IsStreet=1&IsDirt=1&imageField.x=30&imageField.y=5).

I do love the color my '00 GS was; the blue would only come out in strong light.  My '05 looks to be black without the blue flake. :(

My first bike, an '82 Yamaha 650 Maxim, was black with blue metal flakes, and you couldn't see the blue until you were right up on her with the sun at your back. Same thing with the '90 GS in black and the '00 GS in black, but the '90 had fewer flakes :( .
