Title: Storing for Winter, please advise
Post by: Smcneally on December 16, 2005, 10:31:55 AM
Hi all,

Currently living in CT, and this is my first winter w/ a bike.  Could someone give me the lowdown on what I should do this weekend in order to pack it away for months?  (ie empty or fill gas, disconnect battery?, etc)

I'm lucky enough to have garage space for the bike.

Thanks!

Do a Search All Terms for Winter Storage, and you'll find a gazillion useful threads.

Besides everything listed in that thread, I lubbed my bike's metal parts up with some generic bearing/axel grease, not sure if that's a good idea (anyone?) but it should keep the condensation off.

:dunno:
