That is awesome. We have a wind farm two towns up from me. I think wind power is an awesome idea, but atleast around here, if you want to use it for your home or business you have to purchase it in a minumum of large blocks....more than I would ever use and it wouldn't even be financially gainful. (It would actually cost a couple hundred bucks a month more..). Maybe someday that will change!  :thumb:

Neat!  Interesting blade design.

I've noticed several wind generators going down the interstate recently.   8)

And just how much fossil fuel do you need to burn to make those blades spin?

I keed, I keed.

Cool!   I don't know why we don't have more wind farms.   :thumb:

because it's cheeper to dam rivers,  the same reason they shut down the nuke plant here.

This is the a windfarm in Atlantic city NJ. It is located at the waste water plant off route 30. there are 5 windmills total and 3 solar arrays. the power produced will be used at the plant and any excess will be sold off to the grid. The farm is owned by the ACUA, we also operate the county landfill where we collect the methane gas for use in  two generators.

I'll up load some shoots of that later.
