well it's the end of the shoebox pickup era for me, i'm done messing with these POS trucks, i have my eye on a new duramax, maybe a cummins if i can get a better deal.

it's really sad though that nissan quit making the desiels though or I'd be down there tomarrow and i'd be buying a new one.

Ah...an '83 Datsun? Wasn't that the final year for the Datsun name? Nissan after that. How many miles do you have on it? The diesel should have been good for well over 200k.

also 35-38mpg don't hurt either
i have had 2 datsun trucks....along with 4-5 nissan trucks
if i could find a rusted out diesel truck i'd do a swap
