Well, a day before my wife and I were supposed to leave to move to CA, the Navy called and said we're going to Jacksonville, FL, instead.
My bike should be there (along with our other household goods) in a few weeks. I was just wondering if there was anybody else in the JAX area who would like to meet up for rides form time to time.
Merry Christmas!
I am. I am stationed in Mayport which if you don't know the area is about 30 mminutes from NAS Jax. I just got my bike and need someone to ride with. Also if you're looking for a place to live I would highly reccomend the apartments I live in. Country Club Lakes. Pretty affordable, nice, good garages and good location.. Pm me if you want some more info about the area.
again, too far north. does no one live in Fortlauderdale?

no choices in our world.. But you should ride your ass all the way up here or maye we could organize a central/north florida ride someday..
I'm at Mayport, too. My wife and I are renting a place on Hodges. I'll give a holler when the property people get around to shipping our stuff (motorcycle included) down here.

Anyone live in Orlando :(
This is a bit farther, but I'm just a bit north and west of you guys in Statesboro GA. I'm about 45 min or less from Savannah, and I can make it to Jacksonville in under 2 hours, I believe, never tried it on the bike. Maybe if we meet in the middle (Savannah) we could take a trip down to Tybee Island. There are a couple kinda cool historical things on Tybee including the Lighthouse, and Tybee Island is where US 80 begins/ends. By the way US 80 is the longest highway in the country. It runs from Tybee Island GA to the peir in San Deigo (I pretty sure it is San Deigo). Goes Coast to coast, and a good bit of it has decent scenery.
Tallahassee here.
