i took a foto of this POS tv in the pine barrens and chopped another foto inside of it.. what do u think?

that actually looks pretty slick. Good job...I may do something like that.
I wonder if it wouldnt be making more of a statement if the background was b/w and the tv image was color?
nice regardless.

Pantablo has a good idea. The simulated TV image would stand out better.
ok i see wat ur sayin butttt... being that the tv is old as shaZam!, im pretty sure it was black and white. that said, i may try it in color and the background B&W but i dont see it making much sense..
I think that picture is very nicely done as is. Swapping the colors around wouldn't look quite the same. It's the kind of thing I'd hang on my wall at home.
With you permission...of course...I think I'd actually like to do that lol.

yes, thats the irony. looks like a photo of a b/w tv. if you swapped the color->b/w it would be obviously a doctored picture.
That is excellent :thumb: I see why you made the TV B+W and everything else color, but I also see what Pablo is saying. Maybe try it the other way and post that and see how they compare? :dunno:
I like it just like it is, though. Fantastic :thumb:
suure dude no problem.. but if anyone asks u have to say 'the great anselmo took that picture' hahaha ok say wahtever u want. just dont sell it :x
^^ oops that was in response to mak..
rich, maybe i'll get to making a reverse copy of that photo. i also have another tv i'll chop up. also i want to throw another photo in the center cause i was just messin around w/ the tractor. im sure i could think of a better picture to stick inside
You've got a little bit of cut out error in the upper right of the TV picture, but not bad overall. I think if you made the outside picture more colorful it'd contrast better. Also, I think the picture inside the TV is a bit too hi-def for its age  Maybe a bit of blue, or random artifacts/noise distortion?
good observation alpha. again i just threw this together for the sake of the idea, but i did consider adding some noise and maybe a little 'tv glare'..
If you have the skills, you might want to try bending the edge of the inside picture in, like it's curving along the curvature of the television glass. It kinda looks like a flatscreen now. Just for authenticity.
Or you can throw a really modern picture there, or something. Otherwise it'll look like a tractor on a TV.

Chris, can you use the "spherize" filter for this somehow? I am sure you can. I lack the skills to do it myself, but I can imagine it being done using this?
I think it is cool that the picture you took inside it is one of your originals. Nice touch :thumb: You could try putting in one of the horse pics? :P
He could make the inner picture its own layer and just change the picture between it, keeping all the same functions. Either that or setting up an Action for it.
weasel...if you could do a pic just like that but with a Harley Sportster in it somehow I'd actually give you money for it. Anything I could slap up to an 8X10 quality shot. My brother and a good friend of mine ride 883 sportsters and it'd make a slick belated christmas present.
Whay kind of tractor is that???
It's an O&D* straight six.
I perfer your original photo, with the color outside giving the deep meaning of 'there's life outside of the Tv/box'.

theres ur umm hardly. harley i mean. oh and different TV
btw aj, the tractor is a mckormic farmall 4, says the pops.
What the heck? Where the cord on that thing? I don't see how that could be plugged in! That 's crazy!
I like the second one better...you are so creative, I like the way you think Chris. I am working on my skillz...I need a program though where I can manipulate pics..this Kodak thing only gave limited editing options.
Yeah! That second one looks real nice! I like how you got the needles overhanging the picture. That's pretty awesome right there.
weasel...you da man! I'm going to see how it'll look printed, if it's too grainy I may hit you up for a larger one through email or something.
mad props, man!
ok im getting really ghey with this.. being home all day by urself with nothing to do, really sucks.
