constructive suggestions:
Learn to hang off or at least shift your weight. It will avoid grounding out hard parts and keep more of the tire in contact.
Beefing up the suspension will also give you more ground clearance and make the bike behave better.
Buy better gear. But you've probably already learned that one.

yep key points that have been brought to me now. befor i went up ther i have never seen any road like it. so i was really riding the bike as if it were on flat ground as you can tell. the gear which you see there for whats it worth held up ok but in a higher speed crash i am sure it wouldn't have. the helment suffed the most and has sence been replaced with a red one which i have now winterised (as i like to call it pictures to come soon) the boots got trashed and i now have another set. they did ther job the first time so i got the same pair again. the jacket is real leather and sadly i scufed the hell out of the elbows but its still good but a real jacket i have now its a icon tytainum(spell) but its mess so i wil have to wait till the end of the cold wether to get to try it out or not to try it out as the case may be.
the jeans where a joke in all my life i busted jeans but this one take the cake. i wil find some better replacemets for them soon or just sew in leather and a nee slider.
i now have a set of winter gloves and a set of summer gloves but the summers are just plain leather no reall protection, i will have some better by the time warm wether gets around.
as for the suspension what should i set the rear to on the knoches it has, i am a good 230 avg. 6'2" i still need a way to fix the rebound on the front it just seems so soft as i am sure thay all are

At least he's got the basics...since someone swiped jacket for my 2pc, I wear a similar getup.
Get some better gloves, though.
Props to your photographer, man...great shots.

You make those OEM type BT45 tires look good. :thumb:
The newer Demons, Lasertecs, or Actives are all better bias ply tires now and some good sport touring radials would be noticeably better yet when it gets wet out. A 150/70 would raise the rear about 1/2" and a 140/80 would raise it about 3/4". I like the standard rear shock spring preload cranked up about one notch for my 240# load, any stiffer makes the rear too bouncy on the rough stuff for me. Many here are putting on better rear shocks from other Suzi models and they raise the rear a bit too.
Did you change the front to Progressive springs? Besides making the front more suitably stiffer, they raise the front riding heigth some too for us heavier guys.

thats my next step, ive got some cowhide and jeans are cheaper in my size then track pants. i might even go alittle larger on the jeans so i can tuck alittle padding into the hips
good stuff thanks

I actually do this alot. 2~4oz leather patches go a long way on the concrete and asphault. We used to line our palms with the 4oz stuff while luging. I would suggest it for knee-pucks, though.
i was thinking the same stuff for a while now but was unsure how it may hold up if put to the test, not to mention when it would need cleaning but i guess you could have it dry cleaned. or wear thermals like i do and just wash them. i guess a fabric shop could do them. could they not? thats a lot of materal to sew in, and if you do it, where or how much should be done and where, around the butt the the front of the pants leg, i see it as covering the entire front, but i think that would afect handleing or at least feel uneazy while riding.
well I did this a lot while I was streetluging because I really couldn't afford full leathers at the time. What I did was basically cut out chaps from 2oz leather and I sewed them to the legs. The crotch, calves, shins, and the backs of your thieghs aren't contact areas. You extra armor on your knees, hips, and ass.
I always just threw mine in the washer. Only thing you got to really worry about is discolorationa dn I was always redying my stuff anyway.

you're riding well/hard/fast enough to warrant a full 2pc suit. invest in yoru future and buy some leather pants for chrissake. newenough.com has some smoking closeout deals. there's no reason not to have good gear head to toe. "if you cant afford teh gear, you cant afford the ride" is a phrase I heard years ago that stuck with me.
btw-you look really good, hang off a bit more though.
I'd guess you're fairing is scraping because of the crappy suspension (forks particularly) and your weight combined with the aggressiveness of your riding...progressive suspension fork springs, please!

yes sir that what i was hoping has happening. the suit is going to be on order here real soon but i here is the deal i need to know what type i should look for, i want somthing warm but not hot and cool in the summer or changeable so that it is cool in the summer or could/should i wear thermals under to stay warm instead? the hanging off is now fixed NEW video to come soon as i just got a new DV cam and mount are beeign fixed up this monday(today) hopefully for some good shots. i will keep you posted, i think i could really use my own site now tha i am into this stuff (video ect..) like my own .com site is what i mean, any ideas where to start i cant do code/html/ ect... so thats got me already.
