Title: New Exhaust
Post by: Simba on January 01, 2006, 03:56:27 PM
So I know that Vance & Hines makes a very good after market exhaust that is very inexpensive (only $280)

My question is dose any one make a full system that is full stainless steel?

I saw a this

http://www.bikepics.com/pics/pics/suz-gs500-93-bikepics-44362.jpg

this is a lazer exhaust but was unable to find any thing on where to get one.

also found this

it is a magunm exhaust but i was also unable to find where to get one.

Any one have any idea on where to get a full stainless exhaust?

I did some breif looking and I couldn't find anything that was still in production.  You can find them for old-school GSXR's, though.  Shave the outside runners.  Seen it done.

...it's odd...I thought since the intro of the "F" that a little more aftermarket support would have come around...

FAT CHANCE!  I bought my '04f in August of '05 and since then, I've been trying to find ANYTHING for it.  There is not much out there except the small stuff (decals, turn signals, etc...)

I hope there will be more stuff in the new 2006 LockhartPhillips catalog

Ive never heard anything bad about them but haven't seen them used that often.  look like an akro knock-off visually.

You may want yo try  [www.predatorexhausts.com ] foom the UK . I found it while checking some shaZam! out . Stainless systems that seem to be well built and priced. We North American types do NOT pay VAT. Good selection for the GS 500 . CHEERS !

Sandra's ride's got a full Laser system today.
Laser announced a 500F full system availability app. a month ago.
Same as the 500E full system, so I don't understand why it took them 2 years to figure that one out.
Anyhoo, it's expensive (400 Euro's) but sounds great!

+1

I wish I didn't have school to pay for, otherwise I'd jump on it.  Of course I just found out at work that I get a bonus if my department meets it's sales and margin goals, even if the whole store didn't.  WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
