Who has them and do they last long?
I have them. They were on the bike when I bought it, so I'm not sure how long they've been on.
I think they look neat. They definately add visibility. They seem fairly durable. If nothing else at least they're easy to put on.

I think you will find what you are looking for at [ www. tapeworks.com ] . I have done a deal with them with no pain . They are a very helpful bunch. CHEERS!
I've been to the Tapeworks.com site and have seen all the color choices, but being experienced in automotive decals with harse weather, I don't feel like spending $28 on these if they are gonna start peeling off in a year or so.
Another question...
I know it's just personal opinion, but I have an '04f Blue. Any good color to buy for the rims??? I've thought about blue to match, but what do you guys think?
*shrugs* Whatever color suits your fancy. It's YOUR bike, who cares what anyone else thinks? ;)

I think blue would look pretty good on the rims. an alternative to tape that i would try is paint, to me it seems more practical, if the paint chips in a spot just spin the wheel and repaint it but if the sticker peels or tears then the whole sticker is bad.
I thought about painting a strip around the edge of the rim, but I didn't want my bike to look like it belonged to a cheap Ricer (no offense to anyone applicable...)
HA ! HA ! A cheap ricer well that what the GS 500 is no ?

Thankz Boss500. That does help. Along with the fenderectomy and clear taillight. :thumb:
no problem whatever helps :)
I think the blue tail with the rim strips is on the money. All the colors work and the lines of the bike are sharpened.
Yea, that looks nice. Blue with blue is the way to go.
