What so wrong with Ducati's?  I love em.  Except for the price tags. :)

Nothing really...they're just a bit too maintanance involved for my liking.  I'd deal with it for a monoposto testastretta 998S...in red...or any 916.

key words here: for my liking. you dont like a particular bike is alright, to say someone has bad taste is unnecessary IMO [ie moderator].

I never said he had bad taste in bikes... :P ...I complimented his taste in cars (I'm assuming the E36 in the background is his...but might not).

The 999/749 is simply not my taste.

when you said:well at least you have good taste in cars. the wording implies not having good taste in bikes.

Also, you have eagle eyes! I checked the photos before commenting to see if there was a car in any pictures and didnt see them. On further looking I can see the corner of the car in the last picture, barely in the frame.

ps-oh yeah, for the record I also prefer the 998/748 bodystyle.

A harmless stab.:thumb:  Having taste in any bike for the right reasons is good taste.  Glad I got that cleared up.:D

That's the shot that caught my attention.  That's an E36 tail light.  But it's the glimpse in the second shot that tells me it's a 1992~95 325i/iS.

YES!
I actually prefer the yellow on the ducs to the red. god, a 998 in yellow would be awesome, for a twin.

This is the only reason  I wouldn't want a yellow one...

...even in infared you can see everyone of them from space.

Gah. I am so SO jealous. I'm in love with Ducatis. I really liked the 999/749 body style when I first saw them, and actually DISLIKED the old 748/916-998 style. However, the old style grew on me and now it's a toss up between the two. The old body style gives the sexy Italian lines, while the new package is extremely sporting. I actually looked into how much a red 748 monoposto would run me. ~$6000 for the bike, plus about $1500/yr for insurance (I think)  for liability only. I can do the maintenance myself, so that's not an issue for me.

God they're gorgeous though.

Wow....That's tasty.  I was in Cocoa Beach a while back and didn't see any high-performance bike shops.  Where's this one at?
