So, did any of you see that Ahhnold wrecked on his H-D with a sidecar, and was not cited for never having CA M1 endorsement. I think he should take his road test in front of the news cameras. Some of us worked hard to be legal and follow the rules that he legislates. I'm a little pissed off that he was above the law all this time. I just paid his DMV office over $400 for registration, taxes, licence, etc. and now this? :cookoo: :bs:

bullshit agreed :bs:
I agree, this is :bs:
I don't think he should have to take his test in front of the news cameras, I think he should have to go through the system just like everyone else. :thumb:
A motorcycle with sidecar requires a class C license, which he has. 5B of the San Jose Mercury News. http://nl.newsbank.com/nl-search/we/Archives?p_action=doc&p_docid=10F13493B700DF20&p_docnum=4
I have absolutely zero problem with it considering how many times I wasn't cited for no Class M endorsement.

QuoteLos Angeles Police Lt. Paul Vernon said Schwarzenegger does not have the proper endorsement on his California driver's license to operate a motorcycle.
Vernon said police did not ticket the governor for a violation because they arrived after the accident, which left Schwarzenegger with a cut on his upper lip that required 15 stitches.
Instead, officers referred their findings to the Los Angeles city attorney's office, which will determine whether the governor should be cited for an infraction. Driving a motorcycle without the proper license can result in fines ranging from $100 to $250 or more.
oh heavens, he will go broke!
The last accident he was in, he had neither a sidecare nor an M-class license.
Jail for him!!!! :flipoff:

bastard has been riding for 20+ years. just because he had a motorcycle license in Austria he thinks he doesnt need one here? what kind of example is he setting, and how did he get out of it when he crashed LAST MONTH (dec 10, no sidecar)?
maybe he thinks his role in t2 is license enough... :dunno_white:
Obviously he rides how he acts :2guns: :2guns:
AH YOU FOLKS IN THE US HAVE THE US AND THEM SYNDROME AS WE HAVE HERE IN CANADA. YOU KNOW [DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO ]
I just moved to Canada, and I'm still trying to figure out the whole election process. They voted themselves out of government, and then they all run again with likely the same split between parties?
And yes, the US has the same lack of accountability for elected officials that every other country does.

:dunno_white: Yes, this is unfair but are you really suprised? What traffic officer is going to write a ticket to the state governer? That's a very powerful position (obviously) and there are certain perks that go along with government jobs. If the DA's office wants to press the issue then that's their perogative. I wouldn't bet on them being re-appointed if they do. I'm an assistant auditor for my county; let's just say I don't have to worry about minor tickets either.

motorcycle is motorcycle. the sidecar is just an excuse...the last time i checked a sidecar doesn't come with a steeling wheel. he should know better.
If there's a side car, I say it's not a motorcycle. :flipoff: :cookoo: :nono: Motorcycles have to be balanced on 2 wheels. :thumb:

Driving without a license is a minor ticket? :icon_razz: What would the CA state penalty be for the average joe?

All this bitching and it turns out the
Governator was in compliance with the law? :cookoo: Sheesh, I'm in violation of federal law every time I take my piped & jetted Suzook out for a ride. If the EPA ever starts cracking down I'm going to lose a couple bikes. :2guns: Plus, on a motorcycle, I'm better than ever at flaunting the rules of the road every corner I can. :flipoff: Doesn't make it right, but I'll bet many of you-all are the same. :icon_rolleyes:

I'm sure most any "liberal" would be honored to write-up a Republican governor for the odd traffic violation. As for reprisals, Schwartzenegger isn't that petty (or corrupt). Writing tickets are in the job description and no LEO should be excused for bending the law for reasons of race, religion, politics, sex/marital status/cup-size, social hierarchy, or celebrity :flipoff:. DA's are elected officials, and yes, Govt auditors are truly in a position to be feared!

Dunno about CA, but it's $230 due north. Don't ask me how I know blah, blah. You can continue on your way depending on the circumstances.
