Title: One last fuel filter question...
Post by: phire on January 12, 2006, 09:33:19 PM
Okay so I've learned a lot from searching, or at least as much as there is to be learned about a simple procedure like installing a fuel filter... But before I go and start splicing into lines, there's one thing that I haven't really been able to find... Do I splice into the ON fuel hose coming out of the frame mounted petcock? Or I saw a couple other fuel lines that looked like I could splice into them  but I wanna get spliced into the one that supplies the main source of fuel... Or, do you guys take the tank off and mount a filter on both the main hose and the reserve hose??? So you can see my dilemma. Which hose do I splice into!?!?   :dunno_white:

Splice to the one leading from the petcock to the carburators, then it fiters no matter what position the petcock is in.  :thumb:

Wont installing a fuel filter affect the air/fuel ratio?
