just a quick question...i took the carbs off my 98 zx6r and the diaphrams just don't look right...is there any way i can make them straight again?

Don't worry about them being straight or pretty or anything. Just make sure they're sealing and working propperly.
If you're just wanting to do it for kicks take them to a faucet run them under straight hot water (just the diaphrams...) for a few moments and then reinstall them. They should turn back to something more remeniscent of their original shape...unless you run your waterheater full tilt.
Wether you try and straighten them out, the key thing is to make sure they're sealing well. Push the lips as much into the channels as possible and reinstall the caps. Then, on the filter/box side of the carburetors you'll see a post toward the top of each mouth. Blow into these using either a can of air of a blower-chuck and compressor. Blowing into these should lift the side and needle completely out of the main.
